Houma, LA - Technology Professionals, located in Houma, LA recently announced it has reached the fifteen-year milestone as a business. During this time the company has been recognized with several honors, including 2008 Houma Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year.
Created in 2003, Technology Professionals is data, voice, and design consulting company representing a vast amount of business throughout the state. Its mission is to provide one source to meet all business technology needs, working closely with businesses to develop and implement successful solutions. The trained, certified and experienced staff has proven to be a great asset to the growth and development of Technology Professionals.
Under the leadership of co-owners, Jason Bergeron and David Landry, the company ranks as the #10 Microsoft Partner in the State of Louisiana. Additionally, Inc. magazine ranked Technology Professional, NO. 3660 on its 33rd annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.
Over the years, both Bergeron and Landry have been committed to serving the community. Both are Leadership Terrebonne graduates, active members of the Houma Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce, and South Central Industrial Association.
Bergeron, a Goldman Sachs graduate, is also a Leadership Louisiana graduate and recently received the Houma Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce Star Award. He is currently serving as chairman for the chamber. He is past president and board member of the Terreanians Carnival Club, founding member of the Terrebonne Parish Alzheimer Association board, current board member and Past President of the Bayou Region Crimestoppers organization, board member of the St. Francis Cathedral School Coop Board, and is member and past president of the Rotary Club of Houma Sunrise. He is also creator of BOSS (Business Owners Solutions Symposium), a business owner support group in partnership.
A graduate of Nicholls State University, Landry acquired many years of experience in the oil industry before embarking on a career in computer technology. He maintains certifications with Cisco, Citrix, Dell, Novell, Microsoft, Veritas, Unix, VMware, and Veeam. He is an active member of the Knights of Columbus and Houma Rotary.
The fifteen years anniversary is a culmination of many years of change, expansions and progress. Both Bergeron and Landry stated that they were pleased to continue to move forward with further advancing the business and being active members of the community.
